With Panopto you can manually caption your session in the Editor or you have the ability to add ASR (automatic speech recognition) generated captions to your Panopto sessions. Currently ASR captions on Aalto Panopto work only on videos where language is english. Recommend method (when your video is in english) is importing automatic captions first and then editing the captions given as needed.
