Introduction

SpaceMaster is a Erasmus Mundus Master's Degree Program in Space Science and Technology that is being served by 6 top European universities. The main objective of the Course is to combine the great diversity of space expertise at six European universities and two Third-Country universities to a common platform of competence within the guidelines of the Bologna process. This web-site is the local SpaceMaster - web-page designed to give information about the SpaceMaster's 2nd year studies at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Automation at Aalto University School of Electrical Engineering (Aalto ELEC).

Aalto University School of Electrical Engineering was formerly known as a faculty in Helsinki University of Technology (TKK). The new name has been active since the beginning of 2011 after the Aalto University School of Science and Technology was divided into four separate schools inside Aalto University.


COSTS:

There are some costs that are common for all students at Aalto. The student needs to take care of those costs by himself. These costs include, but may not be limited to:

  • The membership of Aalto Student union is mandatory for all undergraduate students.The membership includes a membership fee, but provides plenty of useful benefits.
  • All graduating students are requested to provide their Theses bound in hard covers in two copies. The binding costs must be covered by the student. There are several commercial binding shops available, where the binding cost varies on both sides of 30 euros / book.
