Video tutorial: How to import activities and resources
You can import (copy) all or chosen contents (activities, resources) from your previous course workspace using Course reuse.
Note: To import contents, you must have the role of teacher in both workspaces.
How to import contents
Go to the new course workspace frontpage you want to import contents into. In the middle of page Click More → Course reuse
- In following page make sure you have Import selected on dropdown menu.
You will see a list of your workspaces. Choose the workspace you want imported → Continue
- In Backup settings: choose ‘Include activities and resources’ and then ´Include groups and groupings' if you want your own groups or grouping imported. Users are not imported. Unchoose 'Include question bank' and 'Include content bank' if you don't need those → Next (Question bank means quiz questions, content bank means H5P-questions.)
- Select the sections, activities and resources you want to import. → Next. There is no need to include Announcements which is a template activities.
Review that your selections are correct → Next
Perform the import.
In every workspace, all the resources and activities are located in a given section, and in the new workspace, the imported contents are located in the same section as in the original. You can change the order of the contents. See how to Add, edit and reorder sections
