Level C, Evaluated cloud services
The service is created and maintained by a third party. As a rule, no support is provided for the use of the service.
Any material or discussions intended for Aalto University members only shall not be processed using C level services.
Keep in mind that public cloud services often disclose information to third parties, and may also claim ownership of the information or change licence terms and conditions without informing its users of the changes.
If the service use involves:
(1) processing of personal data, (2) processing of secret material, (3) processing of bank details, (4) administration requirements, (5) requirements for 24/7 usability, (6) licences, (7) costs, (8) a large number of users, (9) several units

Adobe Connect (AC)Adobe Connect (AC) is a browser-based video conferencing platform primarily for personal use. In addition to video conferences, AC is suitable for saving and sending webcasts. For instance, meeting recordings may be shared via AC after a meeting. Video conferences can also be saved for further use. AC is officially used and supported by Aalto University. The service is free to use for all Aalto students and personnel. Please find more information at the service providers info page (only in Finnish): https://wiki.eduuni.fi/display/funettiimi. Adobe Connect service is provided by Funet (Finnish University and Research Network) and It's called Funet Tiimi.
Terms of service
The use of Adobe Connect (AC) requires only a laptop / computer and an Internet connection. A microphone and a web camera are needed for video conferences. When having conferences with multiple people, it is recommended to use a conference speaker/microphone or headset. It is possible to share files (such as Power Point presentations or PDFs) and a desktop during a conference as well as chat with the participants in writing.
It is recommended that You use Adobe Connect via the application called "Adobe Connect application".
Adobe Connect application can also be installed to most mobile devices.
Adobe may share user’s personal information for third parties when it is needed for them to complete services on behalf of Adobe. User is able to opt-out of e.g. targeted advertising and market analysis.
Adobe does not claim ownership of any content uploaded to service.
IPR infringements shall be handled under Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

With an Aalto account. The meeting room can be accessed only by registered users and guest users that have been accepted by the host.
