Adobe Connect (AC)


Adobe Connect (AC) is a browser-based video conferencing platform primarily for personal use. In addition to video conferences, AC is suitable for saving and sending webcasts. For instance, meeting recordings may be shared via AC after a meeting. Video conferences can also be saved for further use. AC is officially used and supported by Aalto University. Adobe Connect service is provided by Funet (Finnish University and Research Network) and It's called Funet Tiimi.

Privacy Policy


Valuation (20.09.2017)

The use of Adobe Connect (AC) requires only a laptop / computer and an Internet connection. A microphone and a web camera are needed for video conferences. When having conferences with multiple people, it is recommended to use a conference speaker/microphone or headset. It is possible to share files (such as Power Point presentations or PDFs) and a desktop during a conference as well as chat with the participants in writing. 

In order to use AC, user’s browser should support Flash Player. Also some functions (like screen sharing) require the installation of Adobe Connect Add-in. AC can also be installed to most mobile devices.

Adobe may share user’s personal information for third parties when it is needed for them to complete services on behalf of Adobe. User is able to opt-out of e.g. targeted advertising and market analysis. 

Adobe does not claim ownership of any content uploaded to service. 

IPR infringements shall be handled under Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

With an Aalto account. The meeting room can be accessed only by registered users and guest users that have been accepted by the host.
