Redirection of messages

On this page you will find information on how messages in Sisu are redirected.

Note: The table below may change between different versions of Sisu.

There are no email notifications on received messages, so please check your messages in the system regularly.

Student applies for approval for a study module that requires approval	Teacher in charge of the study module applied to. Please note that the message will be sent to the teacher who was in charge in the academic year the student has in their HOPS (for example, if student uses the version 2018–2019 of the study plan, the message will be sent to the persons marked as being in charge in Sisu for academic year 2018–2019). 	Administrative person for the study module applied to. Please note that the message will be sent to the administrative person for the academic year the student has in their study plan (for example, if student uses the version 2018-2019 of the study plan, the message will be sent to the persons marked in Sisu as being charge for academic year 2018-2019)	Messages section (teacher's and staff's interfaces). 	All those who have responsible tutor role on the tutoring groups that include the student Note: If the study unit has a teacher in charge, the message to the responsible tutor can be seen only in the My tutored students section	Teacher interface: in My tutored students section + messages section. 	All those who have a tutor role in the tutoring groups that include the student	Only in the My tutored students section of the teacher interface.
Person in charge or academic advisor (in charge) processes the application on study module's or degree programme's approval (approval required)	Student	Front page & Messages section
Student applies for approval for a study module whose structure is nonstandard (made in the Free edit mode)	Teacher in charge of the study module applied to. Please note that the message will be sent to the person in charge for the current academic year (not necessarily the same as the person in charge in the student’s study plan)	Messages section (teacher and staff interfaces). 	Administrative person for the study module applied to. Please note that the message will be sent to the responsible teacher/administrative person of the current academic year even though student might have the version of the study plan/study module from different academic year (for example even if the student uses the version 2018-2019 in their study plan, if we are currently in academic year 2020-2021 the message will be sent to the responsible persons marked in Sisu for the academic year 2020-2021)	Teacher interface: in My tutored students section + Messages section. 	All those who have responsible tutor role on the tutoring groups that include the student (in case the study module does not have a responsible teacher or an administrative person) Note: If the study module that the student has edited has a teacher or administrative person in charge, the responsible tutor can see the message only in My tutored students section in the teacher interface.
