Update your publications for 2019 in ACRIS

ACRIS is Aalto’s research information system. It is used for automatic annual reporting to the Ministry of Education. Our department’s funding is dependent on this reporting! Therefore, register every publication you have.

1. PLEASE, CHECK YOUR PROFILE AND FILL IN THE MISSING INFORMATION! https://acris.aalto.fi

2. UPDATE YOUR PUBLICATION LIST

3. CHECK THAT YOUR PUBLIC PROFILE IS UP TO DATE https://research.aalto.fi/en/

Minimum required information:

  • Publications (Add new -> Research output) Check that you have CS department as affiliation and Computer and Information Sciences as ”field of science”

  • Visits abroad (min. 5 days) (Add new -> Activity -> External academic engagement -> Visit abroad) Some travel information is automatically available via HRG system connected to your flight reservations, but you need to update most of these automatic entries.

  • Visits to Aalto University by foreign researchers and teachers (min. 5 days)(Add new ->Activity -> External academic engagement -> Hosting a visitor)

  • Research and art awards (Add new -> Activity -> Awards)

  • International conferences organized in Finland (Add new -> Activity -> Conference participation)

4. ADD RESEARCH INFRASTRUCTURE RELATIONS (Triton, Science-IT)

Please also remember to add research infrastructure relations (Triton, Science-IT) to ACRIS!
Triton funding requires that we do reporting of results. These reports ensure a high level of service in the future and secure a place on the Academy's strategic roadmap. The reports will directly affect how much funding computing gets in the next 5-10 years.

We need all users to update ACRIS to mark the publications (or theses, diplomas, reports, patents, anything in ACRIS) which have used Triton or Science-IT resources. If you have used Triton (computation OR storage OR anything else) to produce a publication, please see these instructions:

http://scicomp.aalto.fi/triton/acknowledgingtriton.html#reporting

Aalto ACRIS help instructions:  How to add research infrastructure relations?

The final Aalto-wide deadline will be 15th January 2020. But please, start in time and fill in your information as soon as possible!
