Vessel Traffic Service Safety Management Design Process Validation Workshop
8 January 2018

The STORMWINDS partners Novia University of Applied Science and Aalto University organize a validation workshop for the developed design procedure to develop a STAMP-based Safety Management System and a related tool for planning, monitoring, and reviewing safety indicators. This workshop is attended by about 10 participants, including Finnish VTS operators, VTS trainers and VTS quality managers. This work will result in an improved understanding of the credibility and usability of the proposed approach, and will be useful to obtain insights as to which elements of the analysis of the safety functions of VTS Finland could be implemented in relevant VTS procedures.
